About the meeting with the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Inga Shamilishvili

On May 4, 2018, the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi Parviz Ismayilzade held an official meeting with the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Inga Shamilishvili.

During the meeting, Shamishvili congratulated the Consul General Parviz Ismayilzade with the assignment to a new position and wished him success in his activities.

During the meeting, the prospects of cooperation in the field of education were discussed, and it had been stressed that there were a great potential for expanding this cooperation.

The Consul General stressed that the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, has always attached great importance to the development of science and education and stressed the importance of strengthening joint efforts for the development of cooperation in the field of education. The diplomat emphasized that Azerbaijan is an important partner for Georgia. These friendly and partnership relations are based on deep roots.

Inga Shamilishvili, the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, noted they are interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in education, stressing the importance of appropriate measures and expanding contacts for the development of relations between the two countries in the field of education.
