The Azerbaijani national beach soccer team defeated Slovakia, England and Norway to advance to the final match of the European Beach Soccer Championship (EBSL) qualifying round in Batumi Georgia.
In the decisive match played on 19 July 2026 Azerbaijan defeated Latvia 4–0 to claim the EBSL Division B title.
As a result of this victory, the Azerbaijan national beach soccer team was crowned the EBSL B Division champion.
In addition, our team has advanced to the A League of the European Championship, earning the right to compete among the strongest teams on the continent from the next season. The Consul General of Azerbaijan in Batumi Fuad Azizov and staff of the Consulate General also watched the game and showed their support for our national team.
