Novruz Holdiay was celebrated in Batumi

On March 15 the Consulate General of Azerbaijan Republic in Batumi organized an event dedicated to Novruz Holiday in the “21st century” gymnasium whic have azerbaijani,russian and georgian students.

Qaynar.info reports that the teacher staff of gymnasium,public and policy representatives of Adjara Autonomous Republic ,the Chairman of Georgian-Azerbaijan charity community named M.F.Akhundov,media representatives attended at the event.

Before starting of the event national anthem was played.At his opening speech Consul General Rashad İsmayilov stressed the essence of this event.He said that Novruz Holdiay has ancient history and plays an important role in the formation system of our moral values.This holiday strengthen unity and compassion among people and created a solid foundation of people on the attention to each other.

Students showed different scenes,sang songs,danced and said poems dedicated to NovruzHoldiay.Azerbaijani and Georgian students informed guests about Azerbaijan history.

Spring girl in national dress,commemoration of our heart Karabakh and Shusha,”sari Gelin” dance became very interesting to the guests.

The event ended with a dinner consisting of national meals.
