BSU SIGNS MEMORANDUM WITH AZERBAIJANI UNIVERSITY OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION
Delegation from the Azerbaijani Republic visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Mr. Rashad Ismayailov, Consul General of the Azerbaijan Republic to Batumi, Nargiz Abdulayeva, Vice Rector for International Relations at the Azerbaijani University of Architecture and Construction and Professor Faila Ismayilova met Batum Shota Rustaveli State University Rector Merab Khalvashi, Vice Rector Inga Shamilishvili and Dean of the Faculty of Technology Gizo Partskhaladze.
The parties signed the memorandum of cooperation. Based on the document, the two high educational institutions will establish close cooperation in the areas of architecture and construction, implementation of joint scientific and educational programs and projects, as well as of the exchange programs. The MoA foresees holding of joint symposia and conferences, seminars and exchange of experience. The BSU host party held a power-point presentation of the educational programs, of the history of Georgia, and of its international relations. The delegation from Azerbaijan were introduced to the material and technical infrastructure of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
