Kutaisi celebrated the “Kutaisoba” holiday
On 2 May 2026, the traditional Kutaisoba holiday was celebrated in Kutaisi. This annual event serves to promote the history, cultural heritage and public life of the city. Concert programs, exhibitions and demonstrations of folk art were organized within the framework of the holiday, and local residents, official guests and tourists participated.
The Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi Fuad Azizov attended the event. The Consul General met with local officials and cultural representatives and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Within the framework of the event discussions were held with the Director of the Kutaisi State History Museum Nona Kartsidze on the prospects for cooperation between a number of museums of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The discussions considered the implementation of joint projects, organization of exhibitions and expansion of experience exchange in the field of cultural heritage.
It was noted that such cultural events held annually make a significant contribution to the development of humanitarian and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
