On 2 March 2026 the Turkey-Georgia Friendship Table iftar program was organized at the Sarp Border Gate.
The Turkey-Georgia Friendship Table Iftar program organized at the Sarp Border Gate on 02.03.2026 was attended by the Governor of Artvin Republic of Turkey Mr. Dr. Turan Ergün, Minister of Agriculture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Georgia Mr. Dennis Salukvadze, Minister of Finance and Economy Mr. Ednar Nataridze , Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi Mr. Fuad Azizov, Deputy Consul General of Turkey in Batumi Ms. Banu Terzioglu, representatives of the International Carriers Association and the Council for Foreign Economic Relations, as well as customs officers operating at the Sarp Border Gate.
