On 7 May 2026 an official meeting was held in Batumi City Hall between the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi Fuad Azizov and the Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze.
The parties emphasized the high level of development of the strategic partnership, friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Georgia and expressed their interest in expanding relations between the two countries in all directions, especially in the cultural, tourism, economic and humanitarian spheres.
The meeting ended in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation.
