On10 February 2026, a working meeting was held between the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi Fuad Azizov and the Chief of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Police Colonel Georgi Bukhrashvili, at the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
During the meeting, Consul General Fuad Azizov expressed his gratitude to Georgi Bukhrashvili for organizing the meeting despite his busy work schedule, and emphasized the importance of such meetings in terms of further strengthening mutual relations.
In turn, Police Colonel Georgi Bukhrashvili expressed his satisfaction with the meeting, emphasizing that relations with diplomatic missions operating in Adjara are at a normal level, and that he has special respect for Azerbaijan and our people.
