Regarding the meeting held on 14 May 2026 with the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Zurab Pataradze.
On 14 May 2026 at the official meeting between the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Zurab Pataradze, the Mayor of Batumi Giorgi Tsintsadze, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev and the Consul General of Azerbaijan in Batumi Fuad Azizov the importance of the Azerbaijan-Georgia strategic partnership in terms of economic and regional cooperation was particularly emphasized.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues of increasing trade turnover, promoting mutual investments, expanding logistics and transit opportunities and implementing new projects in the fields of tourism and transport. In particular, the implementation of year-round Baku-Batumi flights and the opening of additional transport routes were noted.
