On 17.02.2026, the Consul General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi Fuad Azizov held a meeting with the State Representative for the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region David Verava. The meeting was also attended by a representative of the SOCAR Kulevi Black Sea Oil Terminal.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for further deepening cooperation, implementing joint projects in the socio-cultural and infrastructure fields, and expressed their interest in continuing mutual activities.
